Ladies and Gentlemen,

Even after 1.5 years since the COVID-19 outbreak happened in Wuhan, China the world is still battling it. Many countries are seeing their second or third wave of the pandemic. India is going through a terrible second wave of COVID-19 with over 4,00,000 infections each day. We are all facing a situation the world has never seen before. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we are approaching the situation at Abdos.

My heart goes out to people who have lost their loved ones. We cannot fathom what they are going through but we wish God gives them the courage to bear the loss. Our prayers are with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full and quick recovery. We would like to thank the doctors, healthcare workers, and paramedical staff who are selflessly working round the clock to care for and save the lives of people. I would also like to thank the sanitation workers, police force, and essential workers who are equally putting their lives at risk to serve society. Words are not enough to thank what all of them have done to serve the people in need.

Being a life science company, our products are being used by the hospital, COVID-19 testing labs, diagnostics companies, and pharmaceutical companies. Our products are providing necessary help in testing, drug manufacturing, vaccine manufacturing, and life savings needs. I am proud of our employees and their family members for the efforts they have made during these unprecedented times to serve our customers. Our team members are the real COVID-19 warriors who have fought the virus to deliver the highest level of product quality, exceptional production efficiency, on-time logistics and great customer service. Our team members have worked on festivals, holidays, Sundays, and even on Diwali. During these gloomy times when people have lost their jobs and means of livelihood, our company has hired over 150 new people. I have been inspired by the dedication, selflessness, and resilience of our employees across all our companies. Our manufacturing plant, warehouses, and offices are being sanitized and all necessary hygiene protocol is being followed as per the recommendation of W.H.O and ICMR. We will be further taking steps towards the safety and vaccination of all our employees in due course.

During these times as a responsible and large supplier of life science products we have expanded our manufacturing capacity and are happy to announce that we have supplied over 300 million Filter Tips and over a billion products over the past year. Yet there are delays and we have not been able to keep everyone happy but trust me our team is trying its level best to keep up the supply with our highest level of quality and service levels. We promise to keep serving our customers to the best of our abilities.

Even as we deal with this pandemic, we are preparing for the future and working on various scenarios looking at the demands ahead. We will be further expanding our plants, warehousing, and logistics infrastructure with a sizable investment budget. We will also be expanding our Sales, Marketing, and Business Intelligence skills to give us the right information on strategic actions. Abdos is well prepared to face challenges like this and through our relentless efforts and the great team we will come out stronger than ever before. Our company core values – relationship, integrity, consistency, long-term vision, and aggressive growth continue to guide us in everything we do.

During this time, we are supporting our hospitals in India by supplying them with essential PPE like N95 masks, gloves, and other protective equipment. I hope this small help will support our governments who are doing a fantastic job to keep us safe.
